Our location within the Newcastle Hospitals department of cellular pathology enables us to bridge the gap between UKAS-accredited diagnostic expertise and developmental research.
Our extensive archive of diagnostic specimens including all pathology disciplines coupled with our IRAS-approved research ethics makes us a strong partner for your research needs.
We are able to support our academic and commercial partners with routine histological methods and procedure optimisation. We have an experienced tissue microarray (TMA) team and offer bespoke TMA construction using your own, or donor blocks from our extensive biobank. We can offer tissue microarray slide staining with a wide range of immunohistochemistry antibodies and probes, as well as special histological staining techniques.
